OUR MATERIALS

INTRODUCTION

Our Italian and Portuguese tanneries belong to the Leather Working Group. Our leathers are Gold Rated: this is the strictest environmental standard for wastewater treatment and the non-use of toxic products during tanning.

TO REDOUBLE EFFORTS

The inner lining of CAVAL is made of OEKO-TEX microfiber, which ensures that no chemical agents harmful to health and the environment were added during the textile's manufacturing process.

TO BE DOING WELL

Our shoelaces are woven from organic cotton. This ensures production without harmful chemicals to protect soil and farmers.

REAP WHAT YOU SOW

CAVAL soles are made from 40% recycled rubber. This is currently the highest percentage of recycled material in a sole while still guaranteeing its quality. And we are working on producing 100% recycled soles from used CAVAL shoes.
